UFC: Mohammed Usman, a double motivation to go to the top
Kamaru Usman is now UFC welter champion. His brother Mohammed made a smashing entry into the "court of the great" with his victory over Zac Pauga. The Nigerian is driven by his superhuman strength, but also by his desire to prove his worth and pay tribute to his son.

On the night of Saturday to Sunday, Mohammed Usman managed to validate his entrance ticket to the UFC. Opposed to Zac Pauga, previously undefeated, in the final of The Ultimate Fighter program, the Nigerian only needed two rounds to knock out his opponent. His left hook spread Pauga, groggy. The result: he thus obtains a contract from the boss, Dana White. Immediately after, remarks involving Kamaru Usman broke out. However, there is no question of hiding behind his brother's aura.

Fight for the memory of his son

Mohammed Usman also not only has the motivation to fight to make his own first name. The colossus (1m88, 112 kg) has another reason to fight: his late son. He tragically disappeared in 2019 following a drowning, when he was only two years old.
Following his victory last night, he did not fail to send a message to his son. "We did it, Dad did it. We are joining the big league, "said Mohammed Usman.
