Cameroon Cup: Gazelle FA de Garoua wants to play the quarter-finals in Bertoua
Less than a few hours before its quarter-final Cup against Bamboutos de Mbouda, the Gazelle FA de Garoua does not want to travel to Yaoundé where the match takes place.

Cameroon second division champion Gazelle de Garoua will play in his first quarter-final of the Cameroon Cup scheduled for Thursday, July 28, 2022. The Northern Club has an appointment with Bamboutos de Mbouda. The match is scheduled at the Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé.

The problem here is mainly the distance to travel to play the game. Indeed, the Gazelle club is not very excited about making a trip of more than 1100 km for this match. While his opponent will only have 350 km to travel to reach the capital.

The leaders of the club promoted to MTN Elite One this season are shouting injustice. In correspondence addressed to the Acting Secretary General of Fecafoot on Tuesday, July 26, Souleymane Djallo, the president of Gazelle FA calls for a "change of terrain".
