Bryan Mbeumo refuse France to play for indomitable lions of Cameroon
22-year-old Brentford winger, Bryan Mbeumo has opted to represent Cameroons national football team.

Bryan who has French nationality will now possess a Cameroonian sports nationality and is expected to be part of Rigobert Song’s squad to the Qatar world cup.
His decision comes at a time many other young players of Cameroon and African origin in general are picking to represent ‘foreign’ nations.

Afrik-foot notes that his decision “is the outcome of exchanges nourished with the president of the Federation”, Samuel Eto’o.
It should be recalled that since becoming President of the Cameroon Football Federation, (FECAFOOT) Samuel Eto’o Fils has tried hard to get talents with Cameroonian backgrounds to represent he lions.
The decision of the Troyes AC football academy trainee has been accepted by many with delight given that he had the chance to play for France but turned it down.

“He made the eight decision, it’s also timely,” said Jules Fotso, a social media user.
Edima Dieudonne thinks “all the praises should be accorded to Samuel Eto’o Fils.”
While Romeo Herman is urging other Cameroonian footballers playing with international clubs to join Bryan Mbeumo.
